CRASAC Young People's Therapy groups

CRASAC are running 2 therapy groups for young women who have experienced sexual violence - one group for 11 to 16 years olds and one group for 17 to 25 year olds

11-17 Girls, and 18-25 Young Women's Therapy Groups: Run weekly as a rolling programme with each group lasting for approx. 20 weeks with the possibility of attending up to 3 groups. These therapy groups include the use of creative arts to explore individual and group experience with some social and educational content. Over 25's Therapy Groups offer women the chance to explore the impact of their abusive experiences in a supportive environment with other female survivors weekly. It also supports individuals to learn how they relate to, and are experienced by others within a safe and boundaried setting. Life-Skills Management Group is open to women from the age of 18 for those on our waiting list or already within our services who would benefit from additional support provided from this time limited support. It is a lively and interactive programme which may help individuals to function more effectively in terms of improved symptoms management and to feel more confident in their interactions with others.
