Gingerbread Project - Creative Optimistic Visions
The Gingerbread Project is a unique and extensive Protective Behaviours programme for pupils aged 4-11 years old. We use a wrap-around approach to keep the pupil’s needs central, all while providing essential safeguarding practice for children, school staff, and parents/carers.
What we do
The Gingerbread Project enables children to explore the sense of feeling safe. Throughout our age-specific workshops, pupils will learn strategies to understand how to keep themselves feeling safe.
The principles and practices of Protective Behaviours encourage children to become more assertive around their own and others emotional wellbeing, developing and maintaining safe and healthy relationships.
We take a whole school approach, establishing a shared meaning between the pupils, parents, and staff.
