Ascension youth are contemporary dance sessions inspired by parkour, free running, and breakdance. It is the perfect opportunity to challenge your own creative voice, produce high-energy movement, and learn contemporary phrases and partnering skills in a fun environment. Led by industry professional dancers for young people in Coventry and Warwick.

LEAP | For Boys and Girls aged 4 - 6 years | Tuesdays 4pm - 5pm

LEAP is an early years dance group that aims to encourage creativity, movement and imagination in young people. LEAP will get your child inspired to play, explore movement and help to channel young energy through focused learning and participation. All in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

APEX Ages 7 - 10 | Mondays 5:00pm - 6:15pm

APEX is a junior contemporary dance group aimed at channelling young energy into inspiring creativity, confidence and focus. Joining APEX will have your child twisting, sliding, and leaping in an exploration of movement and dance with opportunities to make and share their own work in a fun and supportive environment.

What is involved:

• play games and learn dance steps from ascension dance artists
• learn movement phrases inspired by movement from parkour, breakdance and contemporary dance
• developing young people creativity through fun tasks
• opportunities to achieve by demonstrating their work through sharing and performances.

VERTEX | Ages 11 - 14 | Mondays 6:30pm - 8:00pm

VERTEX is a senior contemporary dance group aimed at encouraging health and fitness, and developing identity and unity. VERTEX will physically challenge you to build confidence, determination, and character by learning repertory for performance, exploring different movement styles, and discovering your own choreographic voice in a supportive environment.

What is involved:

• stay physically active and learn dance sequences from ascension dance artists
• learn movement phrases inspired by movement from parkour, breakdance and contemporary dance
• developing young people creativity through tasks
• opportunities to achieve by demonstrating their work through sharing and performances.
