Community Dental Service
The Community Dental Service provides specialist advice, support. prevention and treatment services for children, young people and adults with special needs
( medical,physical,mental,behavioural,learning disability).It does NOT provide dental services for children or adults without special needs who cannot find an NHS dentist.
Oral health education and advice services can be provided for individuals or groups e.g. support groups, professional groups, play schemes etc by our specialist oral health promotion team.
If access is difficult, a home visiting service may be available.
