Elim Pentecostal Church Activities

Coventry Elim is part of the Elim Pentecostal Church, a growing movement of more than 550 Christian congregations in the UK and Ireland. The Elim Church in Coventry was founded in 1933 and occupied other smaller premises in Coventry before moving to the present building in the Butts in 1980. During this time, the church has grown in a variety of ways, from the number of people who attend each week, to the wide programme of activities and its influence in the local community.

Firstly, come as you are, there’s no need to dress up (unless that’s what you want to do)

And then it’s usually very simple:

We sing songs of worship together.

We listen to some news about what’s happening in our church community.

We hear one of our leaders give a talk based on the teaching of the Bible.

And then sometimes we leave with songs of joy and other times with tears in our eyes because God has moved our hearts.

When you arrive, one of our host team will welcome you in and show you around.  If you need help with anything just ask one of our hosts.

Before the service, you can sign your children into Limitless Kids (check in starts 20mins before service and ends 10mins after start of service) - our kids’ church for children aged 3-11.  If you have babies or toddlers, we provide a space for them to play with an audio-visual link  to the main auditorium.  Parents can watch their children play whilst watching the service.
