The Coventry Foyer aims to provide a safe and secure supported housing environment where young people can be assisted to reach their full potential.The Coventry Foyer gives young people a chance to improve the quality of their lives whilst working towards independence.The Coventry Foyer aims to enable socially excluded young people to become valued members of the community.

Accommodation

The Coventry Foyer is committed to providing quality housing and support services to 16 - 24 year olds.Residents are provided with one of the 63 clean and spacious bedsits with the following facilities:

  • Ensuite with shower
  • Cooking facilities
  • Single bed
  • Desk
  • Chairs
  • TV point
  • Electricity meter

Education and Training

The Coventry Foyer offers it's residents a full range of in-house training, activities and opportunities.

  

Life Skills

  

The Coventry Foyer offers young people a range of Life Skills to its residents. You will be expected to attend these sessions if you are not engaged in Education, Training or Employment. Our Life Skills program covers a range of topics including:-

  • Budgeting
  • Cooking
  • IT skills

The life skills program is designed to support residents to develop independence skills and gain further qualifications. We also invite training providers to deliver further opportunities and training for residents.

  

Our Life Skills program is constantly developing to meet the needs and requirements of young people. With this in mind, we are eager to hear your suggestions and comments for new programs.

The Foyer does not offer a direct access facility (i.e. the individual won't be accepted and offered a bed space on the day they apply).

The Foyer aims to deliver a quality service to those in most need.

Any agency, organisation or other individual can refer young people to the Foyer.

Individuals can apply for residency direct to the Foyer.
