As an Ofsted registered Childminder. I can offer your chid a safe, friendly home from home environment where they will play, learn and develop. I hold a 2.1 Degree in Childhood, Education and Society and have a strong background in child development and safeguarding children and young people. I have up-to-date certificates/training for DBS, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding. I hold a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate. I am an experienced mother who can offer your child a friendly, welcoming and caring place to spend their early years whilst the learn and develop and prepare for school.
I will ensure all children within my setting receive a diverse educational experience. This will be achieved through activities and resources at the setting as well as trips to local groups, farms, libraries, parks etc. As the main carer, i understand you will be the main source of information with regard to your child's abilities, likes/dislikes etc and by working in partnership we can ensure your child develops and flourishes to meet their full potential.
Muddy Puddles can offer your child a large fenced garden area that is equipped with slides, water and sand play, as well bikes and a trampoline. The indoor area is spacious and resources, ranging from messy play to a quiet book corner can be found.
Animals are also part of the Muddy puddles experience and are good for helping children learn about animal care and interaction. Roly the Hamster is very timid and can be held, stroked and fed by hand. Our newest addition is Oreo, our puppy. She is a Shihtzu and is very good with the children. she will sit, give paw, roll over and fetch. Children just love to entertain her and of course, she loves all the attention.
