PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers.

Your local Academy is run by an experienced, dedicated professional who has proven to us they have the passion, drive and dedication to deliver a really different performing arts education. All our staff undergo a rigorous recruitment procedure which naturally includes an enhanced CRB check and we have a stringent set of minimum standards that our teaching staff must reach before they can work for us.

Under 6 years old ?

Our main classes for 6 - 18 year olds proved so popular, parents were begging us to provide something just as good for their little ones. So we’re proud to introduce PQA Poppets – a brand new performing arts experience for 4 and 5 year olds!

PQA Poppets come in short and sweet 90-minute sessions, perfect for the attention spans of most Poppets! The classes include movement, dance, poetry, speech, singing, rhythm, teamwork, mime, expression and imagination, whilst building your Poppet’s confidence and social skills.
