Baby Cherish - Well-being and Infant Massage Classes
A Beginners Baby massage course is a wonderful way to bond with your baby. It can provide relief from wind, colic and teething, as well as help both you and your baby to become more relaxed. It also contributes to your baby’s development by stimulating the nervous system and communicating with your baby through a nurturing, loving touch.
The 4 week course offers much more that just the practical strokes of how to massage your baby. Each weekly session covers the massage strokes as well as time for a chat with a hot drink and homemade cake. This time is for Mums and Dads to share ideas and experiences (if they choose to) and ask questions to the group.
Often parents want to talk about: sleeping, feeding, feelings and emotions, demands of becoming a parent, crying and not being able to put their baby down.
Classes are baby-led, meaning that we take our cues from the infants and adapt according to their needs.
All families receive a free goody bag with a bottle of massage oil, digital handouts of the routine, access to a closed Facebook group, and a free Baby Massage video course online by international baby massage expert Gayle Berry.
These classes are taught on a rolling programme and are repeated every 4 weeks.There are no set start dates.
