The Newfield Charitable Trust

The Newfield Charitable Trust assists young women and girls aged 40 years old and under who are in need.  Grants are varied and can be applied for clothing, essential household items, educational purposes, etc.

Individual applicants can apply a maximum of three times but only one application per twelve month period will be considered.

Schools and other organisations can submit applications more than once a year for educational equipment, etc.

The Trustees meet four times a year approximately every twelve weeks and once an application is fully completed and supporting documents have been received, the application will be considered at the next available meeting.    Completed applications received between the meetings will be considered on an ad hoc basis and dealt with by email.

Grants are not provided directly to applicants, family members or friends but paid directly to the supporting agency by cheque.   Cash grants are not available.   The spending of grants will always need to be supervised by the supporting agency and receipts for the purchases returned to the Trust.
