I am an Ofsted registered child minder working in Willenhall area in Coventry. I live with my nine year old daughter. I love working with children and I like to support their learning in a secure environment with lots of fun. I will make sure I work with the children to achieve the early years outcomes outlined in the EYFS and take in to account the individual needs and interests of each child. I understand that children learn through play and I intend to have lots of fun with the children I will be looking after!
I have completed my course for Home Based Child Care and I have certificate in Paediatric First Aid. I also have training in Safeguarding Children.
I can offer a caring and supportive home to children under 5 years of age daily, I can collect and offer before and after services for children attending Stretton Church of England Academy.
I live in a smoke and pet free home and a secure garden for outdoor play. I have both indoor and outdoor play resources and will carry out planned trips and activities with the children I look after. I will work in partnership with parents/carers to achieve this and I will encourage the children to share the beliefs and experiences.
I and the children will learn about and celebrate lots of different cultural events as we live in a diverse city. I will make the children feel at home, welcome and confortable while they are in my setting.

All childcare providers are expected under the Equality Act 2010 to make 'reasonable adjustments' to meet the needs of disabled children.
The Early Years Foundation Stage also states that "Providers must have and implement a policy and procedure to promote equality of opportunity for children in their care, including support for children with special educational needs or disabilities"
