Gillian Lombard

I have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and a First Aid certificate, I have attended training on Safeguarding Children and Equal opportunities.
I attend local groups with the children locally and go to Purple Planet weekly, we also visit local parks and zoos e.g. Hatton etc, weather permitting and go on fortnightly library visits. We also visit other childminders on a regular basis so the children can meet up with other children that they are familiar with outside of the groups we visit.
I have a sectioned area of garden space so children can pursue outdoor activities , there is a play house in this area.
My garden space is limited but I live within walking distance of nature walks with lots of space to run and explore safely; we collect foliage and see wildlife.

Where to go

3 Cottesbrook Close

I live within walking distance of Ernesford Grange Primary School and that is my main school run.

Due to the nature of steps to the front and rear of the house, it would be very difficult to provide wheelchair access

Special Needs

All childcare providers are expected under the Equality Act 2010 to make 'reasonable adjustments' to meet the needs of disabled children. The Early Years Foundation Stage also states that "Providers must have and implement a policy and procedure to promote equality of opportunity for children in their care, including support for children with special educational needs or disabilities"
