Feeding Coventry is a small charity with big ambition: To create a food resilient city in Coventry where nobody goes hungry. We are committed to working with partners and local communities to tackle the root causes of hunger, build food security, provide low cost food to vulnerable groups and support people in crisis.

How we work

Feeding Coventry is a registered charity and part of the nationwide Feeding Britain pilot areas. We’re governed by a trustees board and supported by a regular steering group made up of partners from across the city. The Feeding Coventry steering group is chaired by Cllr. Faye Abbott, and receives project support from Tina Wukics, a local government officer.

Our Social Supermarket at Foleshill Community Centre remains open. We have introduced a one-way, outside, social distancing system to ensure the safety of our volunteers and our clients. If you would like to use the service, we are open Friday and Saturday 10am-12 noon.

We have also partnered with the Trussell Trust and will be operating our foodbank on a delivery only model. In order to use this service you must have a valid foodbank voucher. We are working with partners to distribute food to those families who are struggling through this period of uncertainty. We would welcome donations of any size to help fund buying and distributing the food to these families.
