Age UK provide a range of services for people aged 50 upwards. These range from generic information and advice to more specific money management and appointeeship services. More specifically Age UK provides the following services: - - Free, confidential and independent advice and information. - Contact and Connect partnership service to connect you with lots of services and support. - Helping Hands: help with cleaning, shopping, light gardening, getting out and about and all sorts of other jobs. - Trusted Traders: for all the jobs in your home and garden. For all ages. - Home Library: books and tapes delivered to your home. - Going Home from Hospital: ward based information, help and support feeling good and keeping well. - Fit as a Fiddle: exercise classes and groups throughout the city - Community garden and allotment. - Craft and Computer Centre - Friendship groups, including services for older people with a learning disability. - Friends at Home: one to one visiting and help to access the community, including services for people with the early stages of dementia All the services above can be accessed directly by the public. - Advocacy: help to speak up and tackle problems, including mistreatment and abuse. - Money Management: including appointeeship and deputyship.
