All staff at Cherry Tree Nurseries  are caring, nurturing, friendly, qualified and or working towards a qualification (there are 14 staff employed at the setting, 12 have childcare qualifications, the cook and the cleaner)

The nursery is committed to working in partnership with parents providing daily feedback,discussion and opportunities to become actively involved with activities going on in the nursery.

Cherry Tree Nurseries adopts a "home away from home" philosophy and is committed to promoting equal opportunities, celebrating individuals diversity, religions and cultures.

We provide a broad and balanced curriculum to reflect best practice and work hard towards the children's emotional and social wellbeing as well as other learning areas.
All meals and snacks are provided during the course of the day(funded children can bring in packed lunch).The children are given healthy, nutritious food which is freshly prepared. All staff have undertaken Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid training. The kitchen has received 5 stars for Quality by the HSE. All dietary and allergy requirements are easily maintained and met. We will be changing to organic ingredients (as much as possible) in the meals we provide.

All Senior management /Room supervisors are qualified and have many years experience.

The Nursery has completed an ECERS and ITERS assessment and is working towards the Quality Counts award.

We have a large outdoor area, which is very secure.The outdoor area consists of a playhouse, swings, slides, bike area and an organic fruit and vegetable growing garden.
