Health and wellbeing services in Coventry Libraries

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust provide access to health and wellbeing services from some of our libraries. These include;

• Baby clinics
• Health checks for 40-74 year olds
• Mental health service (IAPT)
• Sexual health service

Activities for Well-being - Regular events for both children and adults provide the opportunity to meet new people and learn new things.

Groundwork West Midlands provide healthy cooking courses for the over-55s at some of our libraries. This includes;

• Cook and Eat Well

Other health and wellbeing events take place at the library throughout the year. This includes;

• Colour Yourself Calm
• Mindfulness

The library service also takes part in the annual Health Information Week in July, where partners are invited to Central Library to promote their services.
