We welcome children aged 6 weeks to 5 years providing full day care, part-time care and flexible childcare. The nursery also accepts children who qualify for 2, 3 and 4 year old funding. Our opening times are from 7.30am to 6.30pm all year round. We close for bank holidays.
The provision is purpose built nursery placed within a small row of shops. We operate over the ground floor of the building, offering provisions for Babies, Toddlers Pre-school children in three separate areas. We have a safe and secure garden area to the rear of the building.
Our primary aim is to ensure the happiness, well-being and holistic development of the children in our care. We have created an inclusive environment where each child's overall developmental needs are recognised and met, and where he or she can feel safe and encouraged to develop their full potential.
The relationships that we develop with parents and guardians are extremely important to us. We understand that it's not easy to leave a child in day care and we work hard to ensure that parents feel reassured by our attention to high quality practice and our commitment to children’s physical and emotional security. Our nursery practitioners are keen to share knowledge and ideas with parents. We believe that it is important to celebrate with parents their key children’s achievements, no matter how small. We appreciate the support that we receive from parents and are happy to put the knowledge and experience of our professionally trained staff at their disposal, as children go through their natural stages of development.
We record and track the progress of each child that is evidenced by observations and photographs of their daily experiences and achievements in nursery. Parents are able to access these records of their child’s developmental progress and their personal photographs during parent meetings. Through the key person that is responsible for their child, parents are also able to suggest their own observations of progress to be included in their child’s individual record.
