Light House (Christian Care Ministry) Trust Ltd

Light House (Christian Care Ministry) Trust Ltd - also known as The Light House

We provide a counselling service for the community, irrespective of beliefs and religious affiliations.

We do not offer a crisis service and usually offer an appointment at the office. We work with anyone who is 18 years of age and upwards.

Evening Appointments: these can be arranged, but a charge of £35-£45 per session will be required, dependent on household income/ change about costs: The overall cost of providing a counselling session is £40.00, and clients are invited to make a donation towards the cost of their counselling. We are aware that many of our clients come from the more deprived areas of Coventry, and increasingly we are seeing clients who do not have a regular income, but no one is refused counselling because of an inability to pay.  As a charitable organisation, we are very dependent on donations, gifts and grants to help cover our costs, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain enough income from these sources. We have therefore taken the decision to change the process for client registration by asking clients for a fixed contribution to our costs before registration and assessment is arranged.

Clients will now be asked for £15 to register their details and get the offer of an initial assessment appointment, applicable to all those who register, either via this website or by telephone. In cases of hardship any concessions will be at the discretion of the management.
