Hinckley Road Nursery is a Forest School Setting with a qualified Forest School Teacher. The setting has been graded as Outstanding from Ofsted and has won several awards from Coventry and Warwickshire as an employer of choice.

All practitioners are fully qualified Early Years Practitioners to a minimum level 3 and the settings has an Early Years Teacher.

Although the setting is able to operate on a 1 adult to 13 children ratio the Nursery owner prefers to operate on a 1 adult to 8 children ratio and a 1 adult to 4 children ratio for under 3’s to enable children in their Early Years to receive individual high quality support when needed.

The setting prides its self on treating children as individuals with individual needs. They enhance and maintain an outstanding level of care and education with their child centred approach to teaching with Montessori ethos.

The setting is free flow which enables children to explore their environment both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.

Parent involvement is welcomed and parents are encouraged to involve themselves in their child’s learning through a shared care and education approach.

The setting is recognised as having achieved CHEYSA - Coventry Healthy Early Years Setting Award.
